These scenarios illustrate how teams use J-Horizon to achieve specific goals. Each includes the setup steps, platform features involved, and expected outcome.

Brand launch monitoring

Goal: Establish a visibility baseline for a new brand and track growth over time.
1

Create an organization

Walk through the onboarding wizard with your brand name, website, industry, and target market.
2

Configure your brand profile

Complete your brand profile with keywords, value proposition, and USP. Add customer personas to analyze visibility from your target audience’s perspective.
3

Add tracked prompts

Start with 10-15 prompts covering your core product categories and branded queries. Use suggested prompts to identify queries you may have missed.
4

Run your first analysis

After the initial analysis completes, review the dashboard to establish your baseline visibility score, brand ranking, and sentiment.
5

Track weekly changes

Use the week filter on the dashboard to compare each analysis run against your baseline. Look for visibility score trends and ranking changes.
Outcome: A data-driven view of your brand’s AI presence from day one, with weekly trend tracking to measure growth.

Competitive displacement

Goal: Identify where competitors outperform you in AI responses and take action to close the gap.
1

Add competitors

Add 3-5 direct competitors from the competitors page. Include your primary rivals and at least one industry leader as a benchmark.
2

Review the competitor comparison

Open the Competitors tab on the dashboard. Sort by each metric to see where competitors lead.
3

Analyze competitor profiles

Go to Competitor profiles to review each competitor’s AI-generated positioning and strengths. Compare these against your own brand profile.
4

Identify gaps

Look for metrics where competitors consistently outperform you — citation rate, sentiment, or presence on specific platforms. Use the Matrix Explorer to pinpoint which AI models favor competitors.
5

Adjust your strategy

Update your brand profile to better reflect your strengths. Add tracked prompts in areas where competitors rank higher. Strengthen the web content that AI platforms cite for those topics.
Outcome: A targeted action plan based on data showing exactly where and why competitors outrank you in AI responses.

Content strategy alignment

Goal: Use citation data to understand which content assets drive AI visibility and optimize accordingly.
1

Open the Citations tab

Navigate to the Citations tab on your dashboard.
2

Identify top citation sources

Review which domains AI platforms cite most when discussing your brand. Note whether these are your own properties, third-party review sites, or competitor domains.
3

Assess citation sentiment

Check the sentiment column to see whether cited sources represent your brand positively or negatively.
4

Prioritize content improvements

For positively-cited domains you control, expand and update that content. For negatively-cited sources, develop content that addresses the concerns raised. For third-party sites, consider outreach to improve coverage.
Outcome: A content strategy informed by the actual sources AI platforms use when describing your brand.

Multi-market monitoring

Goal: Track brand visibility across different geographic markets and AI platforms.
1

Configure your target market

Set the country and target language for your organization. Create separate organizations for each market if you need independent tracking.
2

Select AI models

Choose the AI platforms most relevant to each market. Different platforms may have different penetration rates by region.
3

Review the GEO Score

On the dashboard overview, check the GEO Score donut chart to see how your brand performs across markets.
4

Compare platform presence

Use the Brand Presence Rate chart to identify which AI platforms mention your brand most in each market.
Outcome: A regional view of AI visibility, helping you identify which markets need attention and which platforms to prioritize.

Stakeholder reporting

Goal: Share AI visibility insights with executives, clients, or external partners who do not have platform access.
1

Create an external report

Go to External Share and create a new report for the analysis period you want to share.
2

Configure report settings

Name the report, select the analysis weeks to include, and choose whether to enable the LIVE toggle for automatic updates.
3

Generate an AI summary

Click Generate AI Summary to create a written overview that highlights key metrics and trends. This gives stakeholders context without requiring them to interpret charts.
4

Add team notes

Add internal notes with context or action items that are visible only to your team, not external viewers.
5

Share the link

Copy the unique report URL and send it to your stakeholders. Monitor the Viewers tab to track engagement.
Outcome: Stakeholders receive a clear, self-contained view of your brand’s AI visibility without needing a J-Horizon account.

Prompt portfolio optimization

Goal: Build a comprehensive set of tracked prompts that covers all relevant queries for your brand.
1

Start with core prompts

Add prompts covering your main product categories, branded queries, and competitive comparisons.
2

Review the semantic map

Switch to the Semantic Map view on the tracked prompts page. Look for dense clusters (potential redundancy) and empty areas (coverage gaps).
3

Browse suggested prompts

Open the Suggested tab to browse AI-recommended prompts. Prioritize suggestions that fill gaps identified in the semantic map.
4

Diversify by intent and theme

Use the Theme and Intent filters to verify you have prompts across different categories — how-to, comparison, review, pricing, and feature queries.
5

Exclude underperforming prompts

After several analysis runs, review prompt performance on the Prompts tab. Exclude prompts that consistently show low mention rates and replace them with higher-value alternatives.
Outcome: A well-balanced prompt portfolio that maximizes visibility coverage within your capacity limit.
