Traditional SEO tools focus on search engine rankings in Google, Bing, and similar platforms. J-Horizon monitors how your brand appears in generative AI search engines — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and others. These platforms synthesize answers rather than listing links, so visibility works differently. J-Horizon measures whether your brand is mentioned, how it is described, which sources are cited, and how you compare to competitors in AI-generated responses.
AI search engines do not publish query volume data the way traditional search engines do. J-Horizon focuses on what it can measure: whether your brand appears, how it is described, which sources are cited, and how you compare to competitors.
When AI search engines generate responses, they often pull information from specific web sources. J-Horizon’s citation analysis identifies which domains and pages influence how AI describes your brand. This gives you actionable insights about your digital footprint and helps you understand which content assets drive your AI visibility.
J-Horizon is a self-service platform. You configure your brand profile, tracked prompts, and competitors, and the platform automatically runs weekly analyses. Your team can explore dashboards, use AI chat, and share reports independently.
J-Horizon is designed for brand marketing leaders, digital strategists, and enterprise teams who need to understand and influence how AI search engines represent their brand. It is particularly relevant for industries where AI-driven recommendations affect purchasing decisions.
J-Horizon uses an invitation-only access model. Visit tryjhorizon.com and click “Request an Invitation” to submit your request. The team reviews requests and responds within 48 hours.
Analysis runs are scheduled weekly. Each run queries all your tracked prompts across selected AI models and collects fresh visibility, sentiment, citation, and ranking data. The dashboard shows data organized by week.
Yes. Add competitors in your organization settings or from the competitors page. J-Horizon monitors competitor visibility alongside yours, providing comparison metrics on the dashboard.
J-Horizon monitors 7+ AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity. See the Supported AI engines page for the full list.
A tracked prompt is a specific search query that J-Horizon monitors across AI search engines — for example, “best CRM software for small businesses.” Your plan determines how many prompts you can track (e.g., 50). The capacity bar on the tracked prompts page shows your current usage. See Platform limits for details.
The AI chat lets you ask natural language questions about your organization’s visibility data. It draws from your completed analysis runs and can answer questions about metrics, trends, competitors, and citations. The chat cannot modify your data or access other organizations. See AI chat for details.
Yes. External share reports generate a unique URL that anyone can view without a J-Horizon account. You can configure reports as live-updating or static snapshots, add AI-generated summaries, and track view counts. See External reports.
Groups let you organize related organizations together — for example, by region, business unit, or client. They are useful for agencies managing multiple brands or enterprises with regional variations. Groups do not affect data or analysis; they are purely organizational.
Personas represent different customer segments. When defined, J-Horizon evaluates AI responses through each persona’s lens, analyzing whether AI platforms address the needs, goals, and search behavior of each audience. This produces more nuanced visibility data than a generic analysis. See Customer personas.
The semantic map plots your tracked prompts in a two-dimensional space based on their meaning. Prompts about similar topics appear close together. Use it to identify coverage gaps (empty areas) and redundant prompts (dense clusters). See Tracked prompts for interaction details.
The visibility score measures how prominently your brand appears in AI responses across your tracked prompts. A higher score means more frequent and more prominent mentions. Track it week over week to identify trends. See Metrics reference for interpretation guidance on all metrics.
Archiving pauses all monitoring — no new analysis runs execute. Historical data is preserved and remains viewable on the dashboard. You can move an archived organization back to Active at any time to resume monitoring.
Yes. Each team member has their own chat history and conversation context. Multiple people can query the same organization’s data at the same time without interfering with each other’s sessions.
Demo Report organizations come pre-populated with sample data so you can explore the dashboard, charts, and features before running a live analysis. They are created automatically when you sign up and can be deleted when no longer needed.
Export options are available in several places: the tracked prompts page (export prompt list), the suggested prompts tab (export suggestions), and the dashboard toolbar (export dashboard data). Exports are typically in CSV format.
The Week-to-Week Analysis tab is a dashboard feature currently in development. When available, it will display trend comparisons across analysis weeks, making it easier to identify changes in your metrics over time.
Removing a competitor stops future analysis from including that brand. Historical data from previous analysis runs is preserved — past reports and dashboard views that included the competitor remain intact. However, the competitor no longer appears in new analysis results or dashboard comparisons.
Yes. Navigate to your organization’s Settings on the General tab. The Target Language dropdown lets you select from 22 supported languages at any time. Changes take effect on the next analysis run.
Brand variations help J-Horizon recognize mentions of your brand even when AI platforms use different names, abbreviations, or URLs. Configure variations in your Brand profile under the Brand Variations section. For example, if your brand is “TechFlow,” you might add “Tech Flow,” “techflow.io,” and “TF Solutions” as variations. J-Horizon treats mentions of any variation as references to your brand.
This banner appears in the Models tab of your organization settings when your AI model selection differs from the platform defaults. It means only the models you have selected are used during analysis runs. If you want to return to the default configuration, click Select All to include all available models.
