# Use cases

> Common scenarios for using J-Horizon to monitor and improve your brand's AI visibility.

These scenarios illustrate how teams use J-Horizon to achieve specific goals. Each includes the setup steps, platform features involved, and expected outcome.

## Brand launch monitoring

**Goal:** Establish a visibility baseline for a new brand and track growth over time.

  <Step title="Configure your brand profile">
    Complete your [brand profile](/organizations/brand-profile) with keywords, value proposition, and USP. Add [customer personas](/organizations/personas) to analyze visibility from your target audience's perspective.

  <Step title="Add tracked prompts">
    Start with 10-15 prompts covering your core product categories and branded queries. Use [suggested prompts](/tracked-prompts/suggested-prompts) to identify queries you may have missed.

  <Step title="Run your first analysis">
    After the initial analysis completes, review the [dashboard](/dashboard/overview) to establish your baseline visibility score, brand ranking, and sentiment.

    Use the week filter on the dashboard to compare each analysis run against your baseline. Look for visibility score trends and ranking changes.

    Look for metrics where competitors consistently outperform you — citation rate, sentiment, or presence on specific platforms. Use the [Matrix Explorer](/dashboard/overview) to pinpoint which AI models favor competitors.

    Update your [brand profile](/organizations/brand-profile) to better reflect your strengths. Add tracked prompts in areas where competitors rank higher. Strengthen the web content that AI platforms cite for those topics.

## Content strategy alignment

**Goal:** Use citation data to understand which content assets drive AI visibility and optimize accordingly.

    Review which domains AI platforms cite most when discussing your brand. Note whether these are your own properties, third-party review sites, or competitor domains.

    Check the sentiment column to see whether cited sources represent your brand positively or negatively.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Prioritize content improvements">
    For positively-cited domains you control, expand and update that content. For negatively-cited sources, develop content that addresses the concerns raised. For third-party sites, consider outreach to improve coverage.

## Multi-market monitoring

**Goal:** Track brand visibility across different geographic markets and AI platforms.

    On the [dashboard overview](/dashboard/overview), check the GEO Score donut chart to see how your brand performs across markets.

  <Step title="Compare platform presence">
    Use the Brand Presence Rate chart to identify which AI platforms mention your brand most in each market.

## Stakeholder reporting

**Goal:** Share AI visibility insights with executives, clients, or external partners who do not have platform access.

    Go to [External Share](/sharing/external-reports) and create a new report for the analysis period you want to share.

    Name the report, select the analysis weeks to include, and choose whether to enable the LIVE toggle for automatic updates.

  <Step title="Generate an AI summary">
    Click **Generate AI Summary** to create a written overview that highlights key metrics and trends. This gives stakeholders context without requiring them to interpret charts.

  <Step title="Add team notes">
    Add internal notes with context or action items that are visible only to your team, not external viewers.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Share the link">
    Copy the unique report URL and send it to your stakeholders. Monitor the Viewers tab to track engagement.

## Prompt portfolio optimization

**Goal:** Build a comprehensive set of tracked prompts that covers all relevant queries for your brand.

    Switch to the [Semantic Map view](/tracked-prompts/overview) on the tracked prompts page. Look for dense clusters (potential redundancy) and empty areas (coverage gaps).

  <Step title="Browse suggested prompts">
    Open the [Suggested tab](/tracked-prompts/suggested-prompts) to browse AI-recommended prompts. Prioritize suggestions that fill gaps identified in the semantic map.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Diversify by intent and theme">
    Use the Theme and Intent filters to verify you have prompts across different categories — how-to, comparison, review, pricing, and feature queries.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Exclude underperforming prompts">
    After several analysis runs, review prompt performance on the [Prompts tab](/dashboard/prompts). Exclude prompts that consistently show low mention rates and replace them with higher-value alternatives.
