# Quick start

> Explore J-Horizon in 15 minutes — review a demo organization, understand the dashboard, and ask the AI assistant your first question.

This guide walks you through your first 15 minutes on J-Horizon. You explore a demo organization with pre-populated data, review the dashboard, and use the AI chat to ask a question about brand visibility.

<Tip>
  Start with a demo organization to learn the platform before creating your own. Demo organizations contain sample data so you can explore every feature without setting anything up.
</Tip>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Explore a demo organization">
    After signing in, you land on the `/product` page. This page displays organization cards for every organization your company has access to, organized into three tabs: **Demo Reports**, **Active**, and **Archive**.

    Select the **Demo Reports** tab, then click a demo organization card to open it. Demo organizations contain pre-populated visibility data across multiple AI search engines, giving you a full view of the platform's capabilities.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the dashboard">
    The dashboard opens to the brand overview. At the top, five KPI cards summarize your brand's AI visibility:

    * **Visibility Score** — An aggregate measure of how prominently your brand appears across AI search engines.
    * **Brand Ranking** — Your brand's position relative to competitors in AI-generated responses.
    * **Market Share** — The percentage of tracked prompts where your brand is mentioned.
    * **Citation Rate** — How frequently AI search engines cite your brand with a direct reference.
    * **Sentiment Score** — The overall sentiment of AI-generated content that mentions your brand.

    Below the KPI cards, explore the dashboard tabs:

    * **Overview** — High-level trends and summary charts for your brand's visibility.
    * **Competitors** — Side-by-side comparison of your brand against tracked competitors.
    * **Prompts** — Results for each tracked prompt, showing which AI platforms mention your brand.
    * **Citations** — A list of every citation AI search engines make to your brand.
    * **Sentiment** — Sentiment analysis breakdowns across AI platforms and time periods.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Ask the AI assistant a question">
    Navigate to **AI Chat** in the organization sidebar. The chat interface lets you ask questions about your brand's visibility data.

    Type a question in the message field. For example:

    * "How does our brand rank compared to competitors?"
    * "Which AI platform cites us the most?"
    * "What is our visibility trend over the last 30 days?"

    Press **Enter** or click the send button. The AI assistant responds with insights drawn from your organization's tracked prompt results, citations, and competitive data.

    <Tip>
      Type `/` in the chat input to browse saved prompt templates — reusable questions your team has created for common analyses.
    </Tip>
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Info>
  To switch between organizations, click the organization name in the sidebar to open the organization switcher. You can also return to `/product` to see all your organizations.
